Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a British/Lebanese lawyer, human rights advocate and charitable philanthropist. The graduate of Oxford University School of Law in addition to New York University School of Law is internationally recognized in her professional career and for her achievements in international human rights law. Clients include a number of high-profile nation-states, including Armenia as well as its fight to have the Turkish Government recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged to and married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name within pop media.
