Michael Keaton (born Michael Keaton) is an American actor, who has also worked as a producer, director and producer. He is most famous for the film 'Birdman. Michael Keaton plays an actor that has many talents. His career has seen him portray a couple of characters who are romantic, and he's appeared in some action thrillers. His passion for the performing arts began when he was in his teen years. He tried stand up comedy in his early 20s. It was not a successful stand-up career, however it did pave the way to pursue an acting career. To be successful as a comic, he got a job working as a cameraman for an local cable television station. It was at this station was where he discovered that he truly wanted to appear before cameras. In a few episodes, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he was able to get the role on TV. His natural talent as an actor made him popular in TV. His comedic characters brought him fame and he embarked upon a career as a filmmaker who had high hopes. His fame grew for his portrayal of the famous Batman from Tim Burton's Batman. As time passed, he began his career in the field of acting and then began doing productions and even directing films. He was awarded numerous awards and nominations for his performance in the film Birdman.
